About the Artist:

Bernadette De Los Santos, also known as BidiBidi, a Ba’ao, Camarines Sur-based “Artivist” (“artist-activist”), farmer, and inn-keeper who featured her vibrantly colored floral paintings and merchandise at Fundacion Sansó on May 2021.  

Her artworks, which all embodied her positive mantra “Life is Good!” were complemented by her BidiBidi bags and hats which were embroidered by the women of rural communities in Camarines Sur and Albay, Bidibidi’s target community.

BidiBidi x Fundacion Sansó is part of the museum’s Art+Design=Empowerment (ADE). It aimed to problematize the divide between high art and applied arts, as well as question the values associated by audiences in their production.
