About Rod. Paras-Perez:

Rod. Paras-Perez earned his Ph. D at Harvard University in Art History, has an MFA in painting at the University of Minnesota, and received his undergrad degree and at BFA in Painting at the University of the Philippines with a Cum Laude Latin Award.

He is an award-winning artist who has held exhibitions in Manila and abroad. He is a well-known author in the Philippines for his several books such as Manansala (1980), Tolentino (1976), Beyond Art (1974), Sanso: Art Quest Between Two Worlds (1988), and several articles on art to local and foreign publications.
