About Remedios Boquiren:

Remedios Boquiren was born in Surigao del Norte , Mindanao (1940). She graduated from the University of Santo Tomas with BS Fine Arts in Advertising. She was also mentored by masters such as Victorio Edades, Galo Ocampo, and Napoleon Abueva. 

Boquiren's artworks consist of women figures with detailed clothes inspired by Filipino culture.
